July 26th Sermon, Day 3

Imagine standing before a judge, and the moment he reviews your case, he closes the file and says, "I will remember this no more." Not because he forgot, but because he made a deliberate choice to permanently close the case against you. That is exactly what God promises in Hebrews 10:17. He will remember your sins no more.

This is not divine forgetfulness. It is a righteous judge making a final, irreversible decision in your favor. But here is where it gets personal. Your spiritual enemy does not want you to believe that verdict. He will try to reopen the case, whispering reminders of your worst moments and loudest failures. He wants you to live as though the trial is still ongoing. It is not. The verdict has been rendered. Romans 8:1 says it plainly: there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Not less condemnation. No condemnation. And not someday. Now. When those accusations come, and they will, you do not have to defend yourself. You just have to point to the Judge who already closed your case.

Reflection Question

What past failure does your enemy most often use to make you feel like your case is still open, and how does Romans 8:1 speak directly to that lie?

Prayer

Father, thank You for closing my case once and for all. When the enemy tries to reopen it, remind me that Your verdict is final and Your grace is greater than my worst moment. Amen.
