There is something remarkable about being in the same room with people who share your faith. It is not just atmosphere or tradition. It is something God designed on purpose. Hebrews 10:24-25 gives us a clear picture of why gathering matters. It is not about obligation. It is about what happens between people when they choose to show up for one another. Encouragement, correction, prayer, and presence. These are not small things. They are the tools God uses to shape us.
You were not meant to walk this life alone. Faith was never designed to be a solo journey. From the very beginning, God said it was not good for people to be alone, and that truth extends into our spiritual lives as well. We need each other more than we often realize. Think about a time when someone simply being present with you made a difference. Maybe they did not say anything profound. Maybe they just showed up. That is the power of community. Sometimes your presence becomes the answer to somebody else's prayer, and you may never even know it. As we begin this five-day journey together, let this be your foundation: you belong to something bigger than yourself. God is not just working in you. He is working through you for the people around you.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25

When you think about gathering with other believers, do you approach it as something you attend or something you belong to, and what is the difference in how that feels?

Lord, thank You for placing me in a community of faith. Help me to see the people around me the way You do, as gifts You have placed in my life for a reason. Amen.
