One Opportunity This Week

June 7th Sermon, Day 5

You might not feel extraordinary, fearless, or eloquent, but if you belong to Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is at work in you. This week, instead of overwhelming yourself with grand evangelistic plans, simply ask the Holy Spirit for one opportunity to speak about Jesus. Just one.

It might be sharing your testimony with a coworker, praying for a friend going through a difficult time, or inviting someone to church. You might feel nervous - and that's perfectly normal. You might not say everything perfectly - and that's okay too. What matters is your willingness to say yes when God opens a door. One act of Spirit-led courage can impact generations.

One invitation, one conversation, one testimony, one prayer, one moment of obedience can set in motion a chain of events that reaches far beyond what you can imagine. Courage doesn't begin with our personalities or abilities; it begins with surrender to God's will. The gospel has always moved forward through ordinary people who simply said yes to God, one opportunity at a time.

Bible Verse

'After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.' - Acts 4:31

What one specific opportunity will you ask the Holy Spirit to provide this week for you to share about Jesus?

Prayer

Holy Spirit, I surrender my fears and ask for one clear opportunity this week to share about Jesus. Give me courage to say yes when You open the door.
